I wrote this about a year ago when someone was going through anxiety.
These are a few home remedies that can help……..
Himalayan salt bath with a few drops of lavender essential oil. As you bathe imagine the water cleansing you & when the water goes down the plug hole imagine the negative vibes washing away xxx
A few drops of lavender essential oil on a pillow or teddy & cuddle whilst you sleep can help.
Camomile tea with honey.
Sweet orange essential oil can be a pick me up scent.
Brown tiger’s eye, hematite & black tourmaline crystals for protection against bad vibes.
Rose quartz crystal for love.
Smudging & cleansing your aura & home (burning Californian White Sage or Palo Santo wood. You can use both.)
Deep breathing (4x deep breaths in & 4x deep breaths out)
Walking in nature & grounding.
Breathing techniques (inhale for 10 seconds & release for 10 seconds) do 5-10 times until feel calmer.
Tapping on the side of the hand.
I came up with the following technique….
When i got really anxious a few weeks ago i couldn’t switch off. So i laid in bed & found the spot between my ribs (where they do CPR/chest compressions). I slowly circled my thumb in a anti clockwise motion around that small spot & focused on my breathing. I slowly counted to 100 in my head whilst focusing on my deep breathing (inhale for 10 seconds & exhale for 10 seconds). Also remembering i am loved & i am safe xx it was the 1st time i tried the technique & i felt really calm after.
Also if you’re having problems switching off due to over thinking & the anxiety.
Imagine yourself laughing in your head/mind (i know it sounds abit mad but i found it helps your brain refocus & calm down. Might also help with sending the happy chemicals endorphins around your body & in doing so help you to relax quicker).
